Iori Valley and its vineyards and winery are part of TR Ranch and the TR Group. TR Group is a family wealth office with Georgia as a key focus area.
TR Ranch is a privately owned family farm, founded by a visionary father, and now managed by his sons. With over 7,000 hectares of premium farmland in Kakheti, Georgia, TR Ranch is the largest working farm, and second largest landowner, in Georgia.
TR Ranch farms wheat, barley, corn, sunflower, pistachio, almonds, olives and, of course, grapes. TR Ranch itself is one of the most beautiful and incredible sights of Georgia.
TR Ranch and its owners are passionate about agriculture. We believe in sustainable farming practices. We are planting thousands of trees per year as an investment in the future to improve our microclimate.
We are strong supporters of Georgian cultures and traditions and the promotion of Georgian-made products, both at home and internationally.

IORI VALLEY
Iori Valley is a brand name used by TR Ranch exclusively in relation to our vineyards, winery and wines. We use this brand only for high-end luxury products, to reflect the premium quality of our grapes and philosophy of our winemaking.
Iori Valley wine is made with grapes from our very own vineyards. We planted our first vineyard in 2018 and now have about 47 hectares of vineyards under cultivation. We are planning further expansion to a maximum of around 70 hectares of vineyards in total. We do not want to be bigger and prefer to concentrate on quality.
Iori Valley is a relatively young winery, with a professional, experienced and dedicated team and full financial backing from our owners. Our first year of winemaking was our 2022 vintage, which already received critical acclaim. Since then, we are dedicated to self-improvement, product variety and strengthening our brand recognition.

IORI TEAM
Iori Valley wines are made by an experienced, dedicated and passionate team.
Our Founder and Funder is TR Group; a privately owned family investment office managing the wealth and investments of one family.
Our Vineyard Manager is Georgian. He is responsible for overseeing and managing our vineyards, under the watchful supervision of our international experts. He oversees cultivation, thinning, pruning, tying, suckering, canopy management, planting and replanting, irrigating and harvesting.
Our Wine Maker is Georgian. A doctor turned winemaker, famed as one of the best winemakers in Georgia. His wines have featured on the menus of several Michelin-starred restaurants. He is passionate about making wines the traditional Georgian way in clay amphora (Qvevri); sustainable farming practices and uses a light touch approach to making natural wine.
Our Wine and Spirits Expert is French, living with his family in Georgia for several years. His family has been making wine in Burgundy for over 300 years. His experience includes previous positions with Moët Hennessy and Heineken. He is well versed in the A – Z of wine and spirts, from vineyard management to wine making, to bottling and to sales and distribution. He compliments our Wine Maker’s traditional Georgian methods with international best practice and a commercial approach.

NATURE & SUSTAINABILITY
Passionate about sustainability and the environment.
Iori Valley is passionate about sustainability and the environment and grows grapes and makes wine using natural and sustainable methods. We believe in low intervention.
Our vineyards and grapes should reflect the taste of our terroir and be representative of Georgia’s rich land, culture and heritage. We planted our own vineyards with the best seedlings and nurtured and grew them to be able to survive with minimal intervention.
We also planted thousands of trees around our vineyard as windbreakers. We use fertiliser sparingly and experiment with organic fertilisers. We water minimally as necessary.
We prefer taste over yield. We re-use all organic matters produced by the vines and not consumed. Stems, skins and seeds from winemaking are composted and ultimately returned to vineyards.
